In our experience (we purchased the bonus round quite a few times during testing), you should expect very little from the regular free spins. It all boils down to the final spin, where all the bombs turn into wilds and multiplier wilds. Many times you’ll win nothing at all before that final spin, turning the bonus round into a truly nerve-racking ‘hit or miss’ showdown.

Having more than the minimum of 7 spins also seemed to be very helpful, as those few times we got 9 free spins we usually won a lot more.
