Review Summary

Hardly a week goes by without a new instant scatter jackpot game being released, and 9 Wiggly Worms does not even try to conceal the fact that it’s a straight up 9 Masks of Fire clone. The fairground worms theme is kind of original though, but overall the visual presentation comes across as a tad too generic. The worms wiggle when they land, sure, but more could’ve been done to make this game stick out at least in the visual department.

There are plenty of similar clones and reskins to choose from out there after all, and many of them come with a more lucrative math model than this. The base game is mostly about landing as many worms as possible to climb the jackpot ladder, although decent line wins are also possible. Even the top-tier RTP is the same as in 9MoF, and you can win up to 2,000x your stake also in this game. If you’re looking to mix things up with a different theme, well, let’s just say you’ve got one more reskin job to choose from.
