Fortune Coin Boost is a sequel to IGT's popular Fortune Coin slot released back in 2020. The series originated as a land-based machine with a range of progressive jackpots, but the online version, however, offered fixed jackpot prizes. IGT has stayed true to the first part on the surface, but when you take a peek under the hood you’ll quickly notice the difference. Much like any other Oriental-themed slot, Fortune Coin Boost sticks to a kind of common template in terms of the outer look. There's hardly anything new, and it has little personality for sure. Anyway, what differs it from the previous title is the background image, or rather its color. IGT has switched from blue to red in Fortune Coin Boost, though, everything else remained untouched.

Dominating the view is a standard 5x3 reel set with a MultiWay pay system, producing 243 ways to play on each spin. Red Coins, in turn, trigger the Fortune Coin Boost feature, which can reveal either Coin Boost symbols or Feature Boost symbols. If a Coin Boost is revealed, all Coin values in view are increased according to the given table:

The Fortune Coin series benefited a lot since the first release, and the Boost version has really taken it to the next level. Although we still have static jackpots in contrast to the progressive land-based version, you can still claim epic rewards with all those random upgrades. Moreover, Fortune Coin Boost features 5 jackpots instead of 4 as does the original Fortune Coin slot, and it can pay up to 8,000x when several boosts are applied. All up, Fortune Coin Boost is a decent slot, and once you get past the basic looks, you'll find out the gameplay lurking beneath is just terrific.
