Yggdrasil’s Pushy Cats is even more quirky though, and the game show setting is more flashy and superficial than the medieval Highlands setting. We’ve seen better graphics from this developer for sure, but the color scheme and the symbols suit the cartoonish and humorous style just fine.

At first we didn’t like the way the sticky wild respins feature is announced with great fanfare each time, but that was before we realized that it can lead to the bonus game. With 500x as the base game single spin max win, you need the bonus game to close in on the surprisingly solid 20,000x potential.

It will be very tempting to gamble for a higher level if you only get level 1, like we did, as you will want as few vortexes and as many modifying bouncer positions as you can get.

Losing your moving wilds to vortexes is neither fun nor lucrative, and many times the wilds will move in frustrating ways (like the self-willed felines they are). We could go either way on Pushy Cats, and far from everyone will like it, but it’s a good option if you want to try something out of the ordinary.
