We have nothing against developers finding inspiration in successful slots from competitors, but what Stakelogic has done with Bandits Thunder Link is crossing a line. What you get is basically 2 of the bonus round options from Dead or Alive 2, as well as a third option that’s a watered-down Money Train 2 rip-off. The base game offers nothing but high value wilds, and decent symbol values.

Visually, the game is okay, with all the western clichés you can think of thrown into the mix. The soundtrack is pretty solid though, which helps set the mood for some wild west action. The 95.6 % RTP is significantly lower than in the 2 games that've been rolled into one here, but the 50,000x potential is solid enough. We get that this might appeal to some players, but it still feels cheap. The base game is as barebone as in DoA 2, although the wild symbol is worth more here. Also, the 95.6 % RTP is lower than both of those games, and keep in mind that the MT 2 bonus buy comes with a solid 98 % RTP.

We don’t really hope Stakelogic sets precedence with this release, and that merging popular games/features becomes a new trend.
