Somewhat ironically, Gems Inferno Megaways looks like something Big Time Gaming could’ve cooked together on a bad day, but they would hardly go with such a weak math model. The game is light in the feature department as well, and more so than most Megaways releases. Red Tiger is back in their experimental mode with this release it seems, but it’s not very convincing.

The mining theme is pretty generic, although the way the symbols explode off the grid is somewhat satisfying to behold.

Theoretically, because of the 117,649 ways to win, you can land solid payouts also in the base game, but how often have you seen a full grid maxed out Megaways win. The pay symbol values are pretty low overall, and cascading wins of a decent length will hardly even top you up most of the time. The hold and wins style Gemmed. Bonus Round comes with nothing extra, and the top-tier 2,000x symbol isn’t very impressive in this day and age. The same can be said about the 2,553x potential, and it’s hard to understand what Red Tiger has been thinking with this release.
