There is no doubt that Cygnus 4 is a beautifully crafted game and probably the most visually pleasing installment thus far. However, there is nothing here that brings the series forward, and it kind of feels like a step back or a case of more of the same. Cygnus 3 stuck out like a sore thumb thanks to the jackpot Cygnus Wheel, and this feature has been removed in Cygnus 4. We only wish it had been replaced by something more innovative, but Cygnus 4 is still a highly engaging game with a stunning backdrop.

The 94 % RTP is a deal-breaker for some players, which is understandable, and we wish ELK would consider customizable RTP ranges instead. The upgradable multiplier pillar is a nice touch though, but it’s not really that different from what you get in Cygnus 2.

It comes with higher multiplier levels though, and you can climb to the top to instantly crack the game’s solid 50,000x max win. This is the same potential as in number 2, and overall the two games are a bit too similar. Hopefully, ELK will find a way to bring this series forward in the next installment.
