The premium symbols pay between 1.875 and 5 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and the UFO Wild symbols can appear anywhere to step in for pay symbols to help complete wins. The Wild symbol is also the most valuable symbol in the game, awarding 12.5x your stake for 5-oak wins.

The Cosmic Respins feature triggers when you land 6+ Money symbols anywhere in view, and the triggering symbols become sticky on an otherwise cleared grid. You get 3 respins, and only blanks or new sticky money symbols can land.

Each new money symbol resets the respins tally to 3 again, and the feature ends if you run out of respins.

The money symbols slide as far right as possible on each respective row as the feature starts, and this also happens with all new money symbols. When a row is filled (4 positions), up to 2 extra positions are added. Maxing out a row awards the corresponding reward, as seen on the left. Not all rewards are part of the lineup each time though, but here’s an overview all possible rewards:

• A cash prize between 10x and 250x your stake.

Finally, the Cosmic Respins feature can be purchased from the in-game menu, at least in some jurisdictions. It’s not available in the UK for sure, and getting at least 6 guaranteed money symbols on the next spin will set you back 100x your stake.

Review Summary

There is a certain retro charm emanating from this release, although cynics would perhaps say that it looks dated. It’s a “glass is half full or half empty” kind of situation perhaps, but we quite enjoyed the cartoonish presentation at least. The gameplay is simple enough, and decent payouts can come via wilds in the base game. Nothing too special though, but up to 500x from a full screen.

The Cosmic Respins feature was kind of neat, and it sticks out because of the way you can win extra prizes and even the bonus round. Expanding rows like this is not something we’ve seen before, but Wild Streak should consider replacing the emoticons and win taglines with something less cheesy.

Allowing for €/£1 bets is also a good idea, but overall this is a decent enough effort that certain players will probably enjoy.
