The wild symbol is Anubis, the jackal god, and he will appear on the 3 middle reels only. Whenever you land at least 1 Anubis wild, he will expand to cover the entire reel. You will also benefit from a wild multiplier of either 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x, 10x, 15x or 25x.

If more than 1 expanded multiplier wild is part of the same winning combo, the multipliers will not multiply with each other or combine in any way.

Instead, you simply get the highest value multiplier. The 25x multiplier can award base game payouts up to 3,750x your stake.

Visually, Curse of Anubis is somewhat similar to Playtech’s recent release Egypt, Khonsu God of Moon Mega Fire Blaze. However, the two games are very far from being clones. Both the theme and the features are nothing we haven’t seen before, and you’ll need multiplier wilds to land anything of real significance in this game.

The most you can hope for without a wild multiplier is 150x your stake on a single spin. A lot hangs on the final free spins, but not as much as in Relax Gaming’s nerve racking Wild Chapo. It’s kind of exciting to see the wild multipliers be assigned one by one, as you sit in anticipation for which regular symbols your stack of wilds are gonna combine with.

This game might not stick out too much, but there is enough here to entertain a certain crowd for a while.
