Review Summary

The slight movement of each symbol as they land adds a depth to the symbols, almost like a 3D effect, and overall the colorful presentation is quite pleasing to the eye. Legacy of Inca made a great first impression in other words, and it was also refreshing to discover that this was not some kind of Legacy of Dead copycat effort. Play’n Go has ditched the whole ‘book of’ concept for this release, although it can be seen as a not too distant cousin of their famous series.

High value wilds is the only base game “feature” though, if we can call it that, but you are more likely to get wild wins in the bonus round. Getting up to 9 random wilds per spin means that the 3 middle reels can potentially be filled with nothing by high-value wilds on each spin. Larger wins are guaranteed when this happens, and not least if you also land wilds on reels 1 and 5.

The 6,500x potential is higher than most ‘book slots’, and it comes with a hit rate of 1 in 100m. The nested temple spins round doesn’t really offer anything extra though, but it prolongs the feature.
